For several years, Ellen lived in Luxembourg and Brussels, Belgium as well, and worked as a Human Resource Manager for a Wealth Management company.
In 2001, after having spent several vacations in the Dominican Republic, Ellen made her dream come true and moved to Cabarete, a charming village on the north coast of the Dominican Republic and opened up a restaurant, Toma La Luna. She enjoyed the restaurant business but through a friend she got involved into the real estate business and she realized that this was her true love. She sold the restaurant in 2006 to concentrate on this new exciting business. After having visited Punta Cana in 2009, Ellen understood that this part of the island was her home. The beautiful white sandy beaches, the turquoise ocean, the great infrastructure, the beautiful apartments and villas, the shopping areas and movie theaters, the golf courses, this was the place to be! Ellen got introduced to Scott Medina, Broker and owner of La Costa Destinations International Realty through a friend and happy client from Scott and immediately started working with Scott.

Anny Rodriguez - Property & Rental Manager
Anny Rodriguez was born in the Capitol city of the Dominican Republic; Santo Domingo. It was in 2004 during a Merengue Festival in Santo Domingo, along the Malecon - the beautiful ocean parkway, that she met her now husband, Willem Zigterman. This was Willem's first time visiting the country from his homeland of Holland, and as we see, it was a memorable trip for him.
At the early age of 18, Anny began working for a company as an events organizer. Immediately after this, Anny began her work at an auditing firm in order to hone her newfound skills in the world of accounting. Anny had begun to take advantage of her studies in both accounting and marketing from both the Catholic University of Santo Domingo (UCSD) and the University Caribbean (UNICARIBE) respectively.
In 2007, Anny and her husband had settled in Bavaro pursuing the potential for economic opportunity.
Following the career path that Anny had initially set forth, arose the opportunity for her to realize one of her dreams of opening a restaurant. In 2010, Anny and Willem opened the doors "Outiside In", a dining establishment that featured a variety of international dishes prepared to perfection. WIthin a very short period of time, Outside In had positioned itself as the "Number One Restaurant In The Area" within Bavaro, Punta Cana for approximately one year per the TripAdvisor.com travel resource website.
Expanding her opportunities and skill-set as well as taking advantage of her customer service aptitude and strong commitment to quality, Anny became a part of the Go Punta Cana Real Estate Team in 2012 as a Property & Rental Manager.
While Anny works diligently to further the growth of this real estate company, you may see her around town with her friends and family enjoying a night out with all there is to do in Bavaro and Punta Cana.
